Breakdown directory · Guide

The fleet breakdown platform built around the roadside call

Phone directories help you find a number. Breakdown is designed for the full path from “truck is down” to “shop has what they need to roll.”

Directory information updated August 2026

Directory + operations in one place

Search the heavy-duty directory, keep fleet company and unit files, and send work without rebuilding the same company packet for every shop.

What fleets get

Live ELD unit search, driver service requests with dashboard + email alerts, Easy Intake, tax exemption uploads, preferred vendors, and a console UI built for dispatch — not a generic business listing site.

  • Select unit → nearby shops around live GPS
  • Driver request → dispatch sees it immediately
  • One send path for company, unit, location, and tax docs
  • Preferred vendors for shops you already trust

What shops get

Discoverability in a commercial-only directory, Easy Intake packages, tracked calls with recordings where entitled, and a path into WrenchPilot Shop Management for service orders.

How this differs from listing directories

Many repair directories stop at name, phone, and map pin. Breakdown adds the operational layer fleets and shops need after the number is found — location certainty, paperwork, and a clear request trail. See the comparison guide for NTTS-style directories, Truck Down, and Find Truck Service.

Frequently asked questions

Is Breakdown only a directory?
It is North America’s largest heavy-duty repair directory, and it also includes fleet console tools (ELD, driver requests, intake, tax docs) and shop tools (intake, call tracking, Shop Management handoff).
Is search free?
Yes. Searching and calling listings is free. Fleet ELD signup does not require a card. Shops can list for free; optional paid placement is labeled.
