Driver service requests for fleets

Designed for the gap between “driver is stuck” and “dispatcher is already moving.”

Directory information updated August 2026

What the driver does

Opens the driver experience, confirms location, and submits a service request. The goal is a single clear action when the truck is down — not a long form on the shoulder.

What dispatch sees

The fleet dashboard surfaces the request immediately, and email notifies the team. From there, dispatch can review units, search nearby shops, and create or route a service request.

ELD makes the location trustworthy

When the fleet connects Samsara, Motive, Geotab, or Fleetio, Select unit centers search on live GPS and can prefill identifiers — so shops are not guessing exits from a noisy call.

Frequently asked questions

Do drivers need a full WrenchPilot login?
Drivers use the driver request flow linked from the fleet. Dispatchers use the fleet console to act on requests.
Will dispatch get email every time?
Yes — service requests are designed to notify the fleet so a stuck truck is visible even if nobody is staring at the dashboard.
